Jill is also looking for mysteries, psychological suspense, domestic suspense, and thrillers that keep the pages turning and have an original hook and great twists. She is drawn toward picture books filled with humor, whimsy, heartfelt, make-me-giggle storytelling, and fun SEL concepts. In middle-grade fiction, YA fiction, and graphic novels, she’s eagerly seeking strong, distinct voices, multi-dimensional characters, and compelling stories of friendship, coming-of-age, emotional angst, and family saga. Throw in a little fun, adventure, humor, edginess — and overall, something engaging.
You can read more about what Syrone’s looking for on her agency website.

Miriam Kriss of Codex Literary Agency
Miriam represents everything from hardcover historical mysteries to all subgenres of romance, from thrillers to science fiction, from young adult fiction to fantasies, and everything in between. If it's fun to read she probably represents it.
She doesn't look for specific stories, focusing instead on finding a voice she can fall in love with and champion. She's confident that if someone has the narrative drive to keep her up late turning pages, she can help them do the same. Her passion is helping writers hone their voices and discover their strengths.
Published titles: Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur, The Scent of Shadows by Vicki Pettersson, Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow
Isabelle Rader of Codex Literary Agency
Actively looking for NA Books across all genres, Isabelle is also interested in Adult, Young Adult, and Middle-Grade Fantasy, as well as both Upmarket and Commercial Adult, all with never-before-seen worldbuilding, unique characters, strong plotting, and compulsive hooks. From Dark Academia to Epic, Historical, and Contemporary Fantasy with wild adventures, thrilling romances, and dashes of humor, she is always looking for unforgettable characters, strong female leads, and diverse voices.
Regardless of genre, she’s very likely to connect with manuscripts that bridge the YA/Adult divide. She is also a sucker for romantic subplots, whether it be enemies to lovers, slow burns, or forced proximity, she is here for all of it (especially with a morally grey best friend along for the ride).
Amy Guiffrida of Belcastro Agency
In the YA space, Amy is especially drawn to dystopian stories and werewolves, with a particular interest in narratives featuring card-playing, gambling teens in a dystopian setting.
For adult fiction, Amy is looking for upmarket and commercial/book club fiction that explores love, loss, grief, trauma, family secrets, culture, and traditions. She’s also interested in horror with speculative elements, high-tension horror romance with sharp hooks, and sci-fi/fantasy grounded in our world. In the romance space, she’s open to sports romance (across all heat levels, including baseball, football, tennis, and skiing), cowboy/ranch romance, paranormal romance, and werewolves.
In the non-fiction space, Amy is open to self-help for women and teens, pop culture, and narrative non-fiction, though all submissions must come from authors with an established platform.
Amy is eagerly seeking YA and adult submissions from Latinx, BIPOC, and marginalized authors in 2025.
